Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains how Mingloo Marketing ("we", "us") handles personal data on mingloomarketing.com and in the Mingloo Team Portal at team.mingloomarketing.com, the tool we use to publish and report on social media for our clients.
Who to contact
Mingloo Marketing is responsible for your data. For any privacy question or request, use our contact form, call +44 7480 820818 or message us on WhatsApp.
Data we collect on our website
- Forms and enquiries: the name, email address, phone number and details you give us in the contact form, Growth Score, app waitlist and chat assistant.
- Bookings: your name, contact details, notes and chosen time.
- Usage data: if you accept cookies, information about how you use the site and respond to our ads, collected by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (including heatmaps and session recordings), the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel.
You choose whether to accept these cookies in the banner when you first visit. If you decline or haven't chosen, Clarity, LinkedIn and Meta don't load. Google Analytics runs in consent mode without analytics cookies, and may still receive basic, cookieless signals.
Data in the Team Portal
- Team members: name, email address and sign-in details from Google, along with roles and a record of actions taken.
- Connected accounts: when a client gives us access to a Facebook Page, Instagram account, LinkedIn page or YouTube channel, we store the account's name and ID and the access tokens needed to act for it.
- Content and performance: posts, images, videos, schedules and published links, along with performance data such as reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves and follower counts.
How we use data
- To reply to enquiries, hold bookings and provide our services (our contract with you, or steps you ask for before one).
- To publish content and report on results for the client who authorised the account (our contract with that client, and our legitimate interest in running our service).
- To keep our systems secure and improve our website (our legitimate interests).
- To run analytics and measure advertising (your consent, which you can withdraw).
We don't sell personal data. We use data received from social platforms only to provide the publishing and reporting features our clients ask for, and not to build advertising audiences.
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
We access these platforms through their official APIs, only for accounts we have been authorised to manage. To stop our access, remove our business from your Facebook Page or Instagram settings, remove our access to your LinkedIn page, or revoke access on your Google account permissions page. You can also ask us to disconnect an account and delete its data using the contact details above.
Our use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Who we share data with
We share data with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Google (Cloud hosting and storage, Workspace, Calendar, Meet, sign-in and Analytics)
- Hostinger (website hosting)
- Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube (publishing, reporting and, with consent, ad measurement)
- Microsoft (Clarity, with consent)
- Anthropic (our website chat assistant)
- Cloudflare (spam protection on forms)
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK and EEA. For example, Team Portal data is hosted on Google Cloud in the United States. Where this applies, we rely on the legal safeguards available for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
How long we keep data
Media files uploaded for posts are deleted from storage after 90 days. We keep other data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal and accounting duties, and then delete or anonymise it. Client account data can be deleted on request when access ends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To change your cookie choice, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again when the banner reappears. For other requests, contact us using the details above.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security and children
We use access controls, encrypted connections and private storage to protect data, though no system is completely secure. Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
